After a comprehensive evaluation of your posture and movement patterns, a customized treatment plan will be established. Treatment will involve the use of non-manipulative manual therapy techniques to correct postural abnormalities, joint dysfunction and muscle tightness. This will reduce pain and improve the body’s ability to function normally. Modalities such as electrical stimulation, light therapy, ultrasound can also be used to help manage muscle spasm, inflammation and to increase soft tissue range of motion.
Therapeutic exercise will follow which involves high repetition workouts with low resistance to maximize range of motion gains, nourish the joints and muscle in the affected area. This combination under the one to one guidance of a skilled therapist results in the quick reduction of pain, increased range of motion and return to a normal pain free lifestyle.
We offer specialized equipment from inversion tables for self-treatment and relaxation to speed pulleys, which offer smooth low resistance exercise without increasing pain or discomfort. We also offer a full line of cardiovascular exercise equipment. This includes an Airdyne bicycle, elliptical cross trainer and a heavy-duty treadmill to increase cardiovascular health and increase circulation to your entire body.
